Modern age- Robin Hood!
In the fantasy world there was a man known as Robin Hood a legendry outlaw hero and he was a rebel. And the tale about him shows that he and his companions were robbing and killing local agents of the central government (Sheriff of Nottingham). Robin treated women, poor and the humble people status with courtesy also what they robbed they give away to poor and help less people entire things. This kind of heroism has been accepted by people’s heart in the particular situation in which this kind of heroism needed otherwise poor and helpless people would deprive by their livelihood rights. So, some time we teach this kind of fantasy to our children and we make movies on this subject to spread it in the large scale. Good people are always following integrity and characterization in all the way, by which we can bring a happiest life for all. In this case it has been told; be more concerned with your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are. While your reputation is merely what others think you are (by John Wooden). Also, it has been told in another way too that there’s something wrong with your character if “opportunity” controls your loyalty (by Sean Simmons). Like that also told; A man without decision of character never be said to belong to himself because he belongs to whatever can make captive of him (by John Foster). No matter how educated, talented, rich, or cool you believe you are but how you treat people ultimately tells everything about you. Integrity is choosing your thought and actions based on values rather than personal gain. All these quotes are pointing out towards mannerism in which human values be secured in all the way even in the war field too. Today I read news (Russia shipped 1, 00,000 tons of stolen wheat to Syria) Russia has sent its ally Syria an estimated 1, 00,000 tons of wheat stolen from Ukraine….). We think we all are living in the modern age because we all are civilized people and we have Universal Declaration of Human Rights; all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. This is our moral code of conduct but this declaration is just beautiful written document ever by human wisdom, because we don’t want to implement it in our real life and this is really shaming full moments for all of us that Russia stole wheat from Ukraine to serve his fried Syrian as a modern Robin Hood. Is this humanitarian? Is this humanity? Is this humanism? Where has gone our UDHR authority? We proudly say; UDHR is a milestone document in the history of human rights drafted by representatives with different legal and cultural background from all regions of the world and so on. But why still we hold this UDHR document I really don’t know because nothing remains as humanity on our planet earth except speculation in which we all just believe but alas! We are not ready to act according to our UDHR document.
